The Spin the Wheel question type is a fun and engaging way to enhance interactive learning. It can be used in various ways, from distributing discussion themes in a workshop to acting as a lively icebreaker exercise.
Under the Who Will Spin tab, you can select whether the participant or the presenter will spin the wheel.
When participants spin the wheel, it appears on each participant’s device, and they each receive an individual result. This mode is ideal for group discussions where participants need different themes or topics.
When the presenter spins the wheel, it happens in front of the audience, and all participants see the same result. This is great for plenary discussions and presenter-led exercises.
The multiple spins option allows participants or the presenter to spin the wheel multiple times before proceeding to the next slide. This is useful when participants need to discuss several themes within a session. You can adjust whether the wheel can be spun an infinite number of times (Unlimited), an exact number of times, or a set range.
When participants spin the wheel, they can be given the option to submit text replies after spinning the wheel. This feature is useful for capturing reflections or feedback after discussions.
By default, a confetti animation appears after the wheel lands on a sector. However, if the wheel is used for more serious discussions, this animation can be disabled in the settings.
By default, sectors are evenly distributed among participants, but enabling Random Selection allows multiple participants to land on the same sector. This is useful for group-based activities where participants share discussion themes.
The Spin the Wheel question type adds an element of surprise and interactivity to learning experiences. Whether used for structured discussions, random topic selection, or engaging plenary sessions, this tool can adapt to various educational and workshop settings. Configure your wheel settings based on your objectives, and enjoy dynamic, engaging discussions!
