Expiration Time and Codes

A session code is a unique identifier used to join a specific Diggle session. It is generated automatically when you start a Diggle session.

The expiration time is set to two days by default, but you can change both code and duration.

 

Edit expiration time and code

When in the Share menu, click the Edit icon next to the Diggle link.

This brings up the edit expiration time and code modal. 

To change the duration, use the text field to edit the number and the dropdown to select between days, weeks, or months.

You can make a link permanent, but be aware that this might increase the chances of unauthorised access to your Diggle.

You can also customize the code (i.e. for a special occasion or to make it easy to remember by heart).

In the “Temporary code” field, simply type in your preferred code.
