The merged slides feature allows you to blend the flexibility of audience-paced navigation with the control of presenter-paced navigation.

This hybrid mode is perfect for workshops or group activities where participants are asked to manage their time across multiple questions within a fixed timeframe.

When to use

Merged slides are ideal for workshops and group activities where participants may need different times for each question.

This feature allows participants to spend time on different questions within a fixed timeframe. It ensures a flexible and interactive environment, enabling participants to engage deeply with more complex questions while moving quickly through simpler ones.

How to merge slides

When creating your Diggle in Builder

Right-click on the selected slides and choose “Merge with Next Slide” or “Merge with Previous Slide” from the context menu.

During a live presentation

Start your presentation and navigate to the slide you wish to merge.

Right-click on the slide and select “Merge with Next Slide” or “Merge with Previous Slide”.

This description fits both for full screen presentation or when using Backstage.

To sum up: when navigation pace is set to Presenter pace, participants can still navigate between the merged slides at their own pace. However, they will need to wait for your next action as the trainer or presenter to proceed further beyond the merged slides.
